Clearer Glass more Energy Efficient Units

The inner glass uses a new generation type of glass, which quite literally reflects heat back into the room. The outer pane comprises of a specially formulated, ultra clear ‘Low Iron Glass’. This ‘white glass’ allows both more light, but especially more of the sun’s heat to pass through the window and into your home maximising the amount of free ‘solar gain’.

SWISS SPACER V SUPER

At the edge bonds, a “gap” is created between the double glazing panes with the help of spacers. This creates a space filled with inert gas between the glass panes, a key factor for the insulating efficiency of the glazing. The spacers create a linear thermal bridge of considerable length within the window component. When metal profiles are used, thermal heat is more or less released into the atmosphere – along the entire transition area between glass and window frame.
